Insert the bolt from the non-threaded side first! This will allow it to tighten securely onto the post. If you place the bolt from the threaded side, it won’t grip the post properly and the arm will not lock in place.

Only one side of the arm has bolt threads.

If you are looking at the arm from the side with the bolt holes, insert the bolt from right to left.
